Our Mission Statement

Our mission here at Studio Psalms is to create a positive learning environment filled with God's love.
We want to let our students know they are perfect just as they are--the way God made them.

Our goal for the studio is to be a place where children are valued, encouraged and uplifted.  Our biblical approach to teaching dance and acrobatics provides a safe haven from the pressures and expectations
of today's culture.

We believe that every child possesses the ability to bring beautiful worship to God with dance and acrobatics.  We focus on training both the body and spirit of our students.  Technical excellence, though important, is nothing without direction in how to use these talents for the glory of God.

Our Promise:
The term "Christian Dance & Acrobatics" is more than just a slogan to us.  Part of our commitment to the Lord and to you as a parent involves our guarantee to uphold these values:

Modesty in Dress~~We understand that the nature of the movements used in dance and acrobatics require form-fitting clothing.  However, we want to ensure our clothing is not overly revealing. Some dance 
and workout wear do not meet this criteria, and will not be allowed in the studio.

Conservative Dance Moves~~We believe dance can be a form of worship, the way David danced before the Lord.  At Studio Psalms, we will avoid the suggestive moves associated with dance today.  We do not believe this is appropriate or necessary for children of any age.

Careful Music Choices~~We are committed to choosing music that glorifies the Lord, no matter what the style.  Our music will always be family friendly, whether it be instrumental, containing Christian lyrics, or show-tune/Disney-type music.
